Six strangers receive an alluring invitation to a rainforest retreat from an enigmatic host. When the host fails to arrive, the guests gradually realise they are inexplicably unable to leave. Told in nine movements and in part inspired by Buñuel's The Exterminating Angel, the film was improvised over three weeks with an ensemble cast on a remote compound in the Daintree Rainforest at Cape Tribulation — a sensual, hallucinogenic journey and the debut feature from director Daniel Askill.
